On-farm support

As the UK’s number one dairy company, our aim is to provide first class support to all of our 3,000 supplying farmers.

The support provided is unrivalled in the UK and the team of agricultural managers ensures that every supplying Arla farm has a dedicated support service which acts as the link between the farmer and Arla Foods.

The team covers the whole of the UK and has a wealth of experience within the farming industry with most having spent the majority of their careers in farming, while a number are from farming backgrounds.

The role of the team is to provide technical support and advice on issues such as milk quality and supply and work with owners and direct suppliers to meet farm assurance standards.

There is also plenty of time for discussion at regular meetings throughout the year on farm, at agricultural shows and planned workshops on neighbouring farms.

Arla Member Support Team

Arla Member Support Team is the first point of contact for all Arla farmers and complements the team of agricultural managers to ensure that Arla’s supplying farmers receive top level support from Arla.

The Leeds-based team advises on everyday queries such as milk volumes, payments, quality testing, additional testing, haulier issues and antibiotic pre-sampling. The team can also put Arla farmers in touch with agricultural managers for advice on more specific farm issues.
